The art exhibit explores concepts and issues of “El Sueno”-Latino Dreams in the LES in painting, photography, sculpture, mixed media and text by Latino Artists who live and or work in the Lower East Side. The story of Latino immigration into the Lower East Side of New York is a compelling story-one of many dreams and the actual reality that have had a major impact on the culture not only of the vital eclectic culture of the Lower East Side, but New York City and the entire country.
